Originally from Neosho, MO, I graduated from high school in 2001 and attended Southwest Baptist University. I graduated from SBU in 2005 with a degree in mathematics. I attended Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, TN, graduating in 2008 with an MDiv. In 2022, I received a Ph.D. in Historical Theology from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, writing my dissertation on the ecclesiology of John Bunyan. I was the pastor of FBC Buffalo for five years before coming to First Baptist Nixa in January 2014.
